  Noosa Hastings Street

The most famous part of Noosa is probably Hastings Street and  is Queensland's best known street with its tempting places to eat, shop and spend money! Hastings Street runs along a narrow spit of land that has the Noosa River on one side and Laguna Bay on the other. Laguna Bay is renowned for being one of the few northerly facing beaches in Australia.

Noosa National Park is the most visited Noosa National ParkNational Park in Queensland and you can swim, surf and walk there all year round. The walking tracks are well maintained and the walk is well worth the effort.

Noosa is great if you love water sports -  yachting, boating, fishing, surfing, swimming, jet-skiing, water-skiing and rowing. Bring your own boat or hire one along the riverside. If you bring your boat, there is room for it at Noosa Lakes Chalet - ask Otto and Sigrid when you book.

Visit the Eumundi markets - held every Sunday and Wednesday - take a drive to the Ettamoogah  Pub or explore the Blackall Range - all within easy driving of Noosa Lakes Chalet.

If you really want to get away, we can arrange a trip for you to World Heritage listed Fraser Island - the world’s largest sand island.

No matter what you do or where you go in Noosa, your hosts Otto and Sigrid will help to make your stay in Noosa memorable and special.
